In Hayk Karoyi music, you can hear the vibrant Mediterranean palette and the rich diversity of Armenian medieval culture. As a person of mixed heritage, blending East Mediterranean and Armenian cultures, he has never sought
to be purely Armenian in his music or in his self-identity.
His music is always a fusion and an ongoing experiment. It is never complete, constantly evolving, always searching for something new and consistently surprising.
